The Christmas Experience:
This year we have prepared something truly special once again: An entertaining and creative Christmas show at the Showpalast Munich!
What does Christmas have to do with me?
Imagine the Christmas story happening today — right in the middle of our city, among glittering lights, trash cans, and inner chaos — with people just like you and me:
Mary, a young woman, faces the biggest mystery of her life — she is pregnant, even though that seems medically impossible.
Joseph, her boyfriend, runs from responsibility and looks for fulfillment in partying. Isa, the skeptical doctor, hides in the world of social media and no longer listens for God’s voice. She needs everything to be scientifically proven. And then there is Tino, the grumpy janitor who hasn’t felt seen or cared for in a long time… until suddenly, heaven becomes impossible to ignore.
With a short sermon by Tobias Teichen.
There will also be a cozy Christmas atmosphere with a small Christmas market with various stalls and activities for young and old. And of course, we’ve made sure there’s plenty of delicious food and drinks — including mulled wine and “Punsch”.

Family Show
At 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, we have planned two very special performances for the whole family this year.
11:00 AM: English, Spanish and Mandarin
3:00 PM: Russian
The family performances are designed to be more child-friendly, with adjusted sound levels. We’ve also tailored the supporting program especially for families. (recommended age: 6 years and older)
Please note: unfortunately, children under three years old are not permitted in the main hall. For younger children, we offer a play area with a live broadcast of the show (parental supervision required).
If you want to make sure your whole family gets seats, you can reserve seats in advance. Seat reservations must be redeemed at least 15 minutes before the show begins, otherwise they will expire. You can either donate the reservation fee (since the entire Christmas Experience is free of charge) or receive a voucher redeemable for mulled wine or “Punsch”.
Bring along Grandma, Grandpa, uncles, aunts, and everyone else who’s part of the family. Enjoy a wonderful family time at the Showpalast and soak in the festive Christmas atmosphere!

We are thrilled that so many people want to experience the Christmas Experience!
In recent years, seats at the venue have been high in demand and thus very limited.
If you want to ensure that you, your family, and your friends get seats, we recommend making a seat reservation. This way, you can secure spots for your preferred showtime. (It’s still worth arriving early, as we unfortunately cannot reserve specific rows or seat numbers — seating remains open within the hall)
Seat reservations must be redeemed at least 15 minutes before the show begins, otherwise they will expire. You can either donate the reservation fee (since the entire Christmas Experience is free of charge) or receive a voucher redeemable for mulled wine or “Punsch”.
